Love. That's what it's all about. Richie and Amanda's beautiful and quiet ceremony on the Old Town waterfront was a perfect tribute to their love. I was honored to spend the afternoon celebrating with this happy couple and photographing their joy along the historic streets of Alexandria. The Winery at Bull Run in Centreville, VA is a perfect spot for summer weddings in Northern Virginia and these Catholic University alums took full advantage of the venue’s picturesque backdrop.
Sean and Laura began their day at the historic St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church in Fairfax Station, where they recited their marriage vows before an intimate audience of loved ones. After a fun photo session, the couple was able to cool off in Bull Run’s Production Barn and danced the night away surrounded by friends, family, and wine of course!
I believe long weekends give families a bit more time to enjoy the festivities while allowing guests who travel the ability to keep some of their weekend. No doubt this thoughtful couple considered all of these advantages when they chose to celebrate their wedding over Memorial Day weekend.
Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley is beautiful in the Spring and the Steel Club in Hellertown, PA showcased many of the Valley’s assets. Meghann and Michael were such a kind and relaxed couple to work with. Their happiness shined through from their traditional Catholic ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church in Bethlehem until the sparkler sendoff at the end of the evening. #happygoglucky says it all!

June weddings are beautiful in Northern Virginia, despite the often balmy temps, the foliage is in full bloom and late sunsets allow for plenty of great photo opportunities. Thomas and Theresa were surrounded by love and family as they said their vows during a traditional catholic ceremony at St. James Catholic Church, a stunning historical church located in Falls Church, VA. Following their their ceremony, we moved to the stately Westwood Country Club to celebrate their day. One of my favorite things about weddings is that they bring families, big and small, together. Thomas and Theresa are fortunate to have so many people in their lives who will love and support them throughout their marriage. Best wishes Thomas and Theresa. Bryanna and Aaron were such a joy to work with and you’d never know it was in the high 40’s on this sunny but chilly, Washington D.C afternoon. Eastern Market provided a perfect backdrop for their engagement shoot and the images we were able to capture were wonderful
The Cherry Blossoms in Washington D.C are a photographers dream, they provide a fantastic backdrop (and lots of crowds!) Luckily for us it was a bit chilly and rainy so we had the area to ourselves and the results were great. Dina & Jason were good sports allowing me to capture some beautiful shots.
